1. Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as an email address, nickname, profile image, requests, contributions, comments, reports and support messages. We also keep the settings and activity needed to show your account, community interactions and appreciation history.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate HereNow, show requests and contributions, keep accounts separate, process voluntary appreciation, provide support, prevent abuse and review reports. We do not use your information for purposes beyond those described in this policy.
4. Device permissions
HereNow may ask for camera, photo, microphone or foreground location access when you start a matching action. We do not request background location. You can change a permission in your device settings; the related feature will be the only thing affected.
5. Community content
You keep the rights to content you create. By posting, you give HereNow a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except where a limited copy must remain for safety, legal or dispute reasons.
Please do not share covert recordings, tracking requests, private details, unsafe trespass or material that infringes someone else’s rights.
6. Security
We use account boundaries and reasonable technical measures to protect information. Your device’s security settings and backups also affect the protection of locally stored information. Please protect your device and account email.
7. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce the Community Guidelines and protect people. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it non-identifying where appropriate.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information, withdraw consent, restrict processing or raise an objection. You can also close your account in the app. These choices are free; we may need to verify a request before acting on it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the new effective date and highlight material changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
