1. The service
HereNow lets people post focused visual requests and lets other people voluntarily share what they safely capture. The service is for discovery, community connection and visual storytelling. It is not a courier, employment, emergency, surveillance or professional inspection service.
2. Participation
Participation is voluntary. Use a working email for your account and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account and for following the laws and venue rules that apply where you are.
3. Prohibited conduct
Do not use HereNow for covert filming, tracking a specific person, harassment, unsafe trespass, unlawful requests, unauthorised commercial activity, metric manipulation, mass account creation or interference with normal service operation.
4. Content and rights
You keep the rights to your photos, videos and text. You must have the right to share what you post, and your content must respect privacy, likeness, intellectual property and local law. You give HereNow the limited licence needed to display and distribute your content within the service.
5. Appreciation points
Appreciation points are optional, single-use virtual items purchased through the relevant app store. They are not wages, commission or payment for labour. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for currency. Store prices and store refund rules apply, subject to local law.
6. Moderation and appeals
We may use automated checks and human review to protect the community. Content may be limited or removed, and features may be restricted when a rule is broken. We explain the reason where practical and provide an in-app appeal route for review.
7. Safety
Choose safe locations and times, respect private and restricted areas, and never put yourself or another person at risk for a request. HereNow cannot guarantee offline conditions or the conduct of another person. In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services first.
8. Changes and ending use
We may update these terms and publish the new effective date. You may stop using HereNow or delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms or the Community Guidelines.
9. Local law
These terms are subject to the laws that apply to the service operator, while your mandatory local consumer and privacy protections continue to apply where they give you greater rights.
